Badam Halwa Recipe
INGREDIENTS
BADAM - 1/2 CUP
SUGAR - 1/2 cup
MILK - 1/2 CUP
GHEE - 1/4 CUP
POWDERED KESAR - 1/4 TSP
CHOPPED NUTS FOR GARNISHING
METHOD
1. Soak Badam / Almonds in warm water for 1 hour
2. Peel the skin and blend to make a coarse paste by adding milk or water
3. In a pan add milk and badam paste
4. Stir on slow to medium flame and once it has got little thick add powdered kesar
5. Mix well
6. Add sugar
7. Once sugar has dissolved stir again to make thick
8. Stir on medium flame, be careful it does not stick
9. Switch off the gas, once it turns thick
10. Transfer to a greased bowl or tin
11. Unmould once it completely cools down
12. Garnish with nuts and Kesar Starnds
13. Delicious Badam halwa is ready
