Easy kalakand Recipe

Ingredients

Milk - 1 litre
Paneer - 200 grams
Sugar - 8 to 10 tbsp
Elaichi powder - Pinch
Chopped pistachios and badams (almonds)& kesar ( saffron strands) for garnishing

 Method

1. In a pan add milk, keep stirring on slow flame till it reduces to 1/3 . Scrape the sides in between 

2. Once it  has reduced add paneer, and mix well 

3. Add sugar after 3 to 5 minutes,stir till the sugar dissolves and the mixture becomes thick 

4.Add elaichi powder and mix 

5.After 2 minutes transfer to a greased tray and let it cool

6.Then refrigerate kalakand till it sets 

7.Once it had set cut into pieces and serve
