Gulkand thandai recipe

 Gulkand Thandai recipe 

Ingredients 

Milk -3 cups 
Pinch of saffron ( kesar) 
Fennel seeds -1 tbsp
Peppercorns -10 to 12 
Cardamom seeds - 1/2 tsp
Rose petals - 1tsp
Sugar -3 tbsp
Badam / Almonds ( soaked & peeled) - 10to12
Poppy seeds ( soaked) - 1 tbsp
Milk - 1 tsp
Gulkand - 2 tbsp 

Method 
1.In a pan add milk and pinch of saffron 
2.Boil for 5 minutes 
3.Blend fennel seeds, peppercorns, cardamom seeds, rose petals, sugar 
4.keep the dry mixture aside 
5 . Grind badam, poppy seeds, milk. 
6. Thandai paste is ready 
7.Mix dry mixture to thandai paste & blend again 
8.Thandai mixture is ready 
9.Add thandai mixture to hot milk 
10.Boil for 5 minutes 
11.Let it cool completely
12.Add gulkand to chilled thandai 
13.Mix well and serve chilled
