DOUBLE DECKER BAJJI RECIPE

SERVES - 3 

Ingredients 

Besan -1 cup

Rice flour - 1 tbsp

Salt to taste 

Red chili powder - 1 tbsp

Asafoetida / Hing - pinch 

Cooking soda - pinch 

Oil -1 tsp

Water 

For garlic chutney 

Garlic cloves 

Onions

Red chili powder -2 tsp

Coriander powder - 1tsp

Salt to taste 

For Coriander chutney 

Coriander leaves 

Green chilies 

Ginger 

Lemon juice - 1tbsp

Salt to taste


BAJJI RECIPE 

1.Half cook the potatoes 

2.Pell the potatoes . Cut thin slices of potatoes 


FOR GARLIC CHUTNEY 

3.Blend garlic cloves, chopped onions, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt

4.Blend till it becomes a fine paste 


FOR CORIANDER CHUTNEY 

5.Blend the coriander leaves, green chilies, ginger and lemon juice, salt 

6.Blend till you get a fine paste


BATTER RECIPE

7.Mix besan, rice flour, salt, red chili powder, Asafoetida, cooking soda, oil.

8 . Gradually add water and make a thick pouring consistency batter. 


MAKING OF DOUBLE DECKER BAJJIS

9.Spread the garlic chutney on one slice of potato. Place an other slice of potato

10.Sread coriander chutney on other potato and place an other slice of potato

11.Dip the potatoes in the batter.

12 .cover the potatoes with batter

13 . Deep fry on medium flame till golden brown.


PIPPING HOT DOUBLE DECKER BAJJIS ARE READY TO SERVE..

YOU CAN SERVE WITH TOMATOES KETCHUP & CHUTNEYS.
